You quickly figure out in Black Ops 7 that standing still is basically asking to get deleted, and the whole match starts to feel different once you lean into the movement meta with the new Omnimovement system. You’re darting around, sliding out of bad angles, hopping off walls, and trying to stay as slippery as possible, and that’s exactly where something like CoD BO7 Boosting often gets mentioned because players realise how much raw mobility shapes every fight. The gun skill still matters, sure, but your real edge comes from how unpredictable you can be while crossing lanes or collapsing on an objective. What catches people off guard is how often movement wins fights before the first bullet even flies, so the more natural this flow feels, the easier it is to stay alive and push the pace of the game.
Loadouts That Keep You Alive
Most players try out a bit of everything early on, but after a while you notice that certain perks just make the whole game smoother. Stim Shot, Fast Hands, and Dexterity end up feeling like a little power trio that keeps you moving instead of stuck reloading or trying to patch yourself up. They let you recover quicker, swap gear faster, and keep that fast, loose rhythm that Black Ops 7 pushes you toward. A lot of people overlook utility too, but smokes can save whole pushes by breaking an angle for a couple seconds, and a well‑timed frag or cluster clears out campers without needing some big hero play. It’s small stuff, but it adds up when fights get messy.
Keeping Control in Objective Modes
It’s pretty common to see teams sprint everywhere at full speed and then wonder why the points keep slipping away. The trick is pacing those rotations and knowing when to commit. If you move with intention rather than panic, it’s easier to claim lanes, cut off flanks, and hold ground long enough for teammates to sync with you. The game rewards that sort of steady pressure, not just flashy slide‑cancels. Once you tie your movement into your decision‑making instead of treating them as separate skills, objective modes feel a lot less chaotic and a lot more like you’re guiding the match rather than chasing it.
Zombies That Don’t Let Up
Switching to Zombies flips the vibe completely. The rounds creep up faster than you expect, and suddenly the basic rifle you spawned with feels like it’s shooting blanks. Getting your weapon into the Pack‑a‑Punch machine early is usually the turning point because the damage spike and ammo effects help you keep control when the map starts flooding. Perks matter too, and grabbing Jugger‑Nog and Quick Revive makes the whole run less stressful, especially when elites start pushing in. Most players lean on a strong AR or LMG with a good Ammo Mod and keep a backup for emergencies, and that rhythm keeps the mode fun without feeling impossible. It’s all about staying ahead of the curve, and tools like CoD BO7 Boosting for sale often come up when players want a smoother path into high‑round builds.

I hit that point early in the season where the game finally stopped feeling like a coin toss, and a lot of that clicked the moment I started messing with Tempering and Masterworking while chasing better diablo 4 gear. Instead of praying for a miracle roll, you grab a decent base and shape it into something that actually fits the way you play. It feels more like you’re steering your build instead of letting luck drive it. There’s still that little knot in your stomach when you push upgrades too far, but when a weapon you chose and refined starts shredding enemies, it hits different. The whole loop suddenly respects the hours you put in instead of turning them into a gamble.
The World Feels Sharper
The shift in tone this season is hard to ignore. The fight between the High Heavens and the Hells isn’t sitting quietly in the background anymore; you can feel it when you’re roaming around, even if you’re not paying full attention. Running into the Lesser Evils again—Azmodan, Duriel, Belial, and Andariel—brings back that old-school tension, but they’re not just standing there waiting to hand you loot. Azmodan as a proper multi-phase world boss is wild. You can’t just lock your feet to the ground and hope for the best. You’ve gotta read the room, dodge at the right time, and stay sharp if you want those Corrupted Essences that fuel the new Divine Gifts system.
Leveling Has a Different Pace
The skill tree update looked small when I first read the notes, but once I jumped in, the difference hit fast. Lower point requirements for core skills meant my build didn’t take forever to grow legs. You get to mess around with ideas early, swapping skills without feeling like you’re wasting half an evening just to test something simple. People who love rolling alts will feel it even more; it doesn’t drag the way it used to. You’re actually getting into the fun part instead of trudging through that slow early stretch.
Combat Finally Pushes Back
What surprised me most this season was how the monsters themselves changed. The new affixes—there are more than twenty—aren’t just numbers slapped on top. Packs move in ways they didn’t before, and elites don’t telegraph everything as clearly. You think you’ve got a handle on a pull, and suddenly something flanks you or chains a combo you weren’t ready for. It forces you to stay awake at the wheel, which honestly makes fights more satisfying. It’s the first time in a while that the game’s challenge and progression feel like they’re walking in step, and it makes chasing upgrades or deciding when to buy diablo 4 gear feel like part of a single, steady climb.

Anyone who’s ever sat up late grinding knows that burnout feeling, the one where you swear the game’s messing with you for fun, but Season 11 shifts that whole mindset by making gear feel like something you shape instead of something you just pray for, and once you start working on a piece of diablo 4 gear, the whole loop suddenly feels way more intentional rather than luck‑based. You grab a decent item, temper it a bit, see how far you can push the masterworking, and before you realise it you’re building your character in a way that actually reflects the time you’re putting in, not waiting for a miracle drop that never comes.
The World Finally Feels Alive Again
The season’s heavier tone hits you almost right away, and the whole High Heavens vs. Hells conflict feels like it’s actually happening around you instead of playing out in the background. When the Lesser Evils return—Azmodan, Duriel, Belial, Andariel—they’re not just nostalgia bait. Azmodan as a roaming multi‑phase world boss is genuinely wild to fight. You can’t plant your feet and tunnel‑vision your rotation anymore; the ground changes, the pace shifts, and you’re reacting second by second while hoping for those Corrupted Essences that feed into the new Divine Gifts system. It gives the open world a reason to be explored again instead of being something you sprint through just to get to a dungeon.
A Faster Path to Real Builds
One of the best changes buried in the patch notes is the reworked skill tree, especially the lowered point requirements for core abilities. It sounds minor when you read it, but the difference in play is huge. You get your kit online early, you test builds without waiting forever, and you don’t feel stuck with an awkward half‑formed rotation during the climb. It’s the sort of tweak that makes rolling an alt feel like something you might actually do for fun rather than a chore you have to brace for, and the whole early game has this snappier, more relaxed tempo because of it.
Combat That Keeps You Awake
The new monster behaviour is where the difficulty really spikes, and it’s noticeable fast. Regular enemies move with intent now, flanking instead of standing around waiting to be cleared, and elites with the new affix combos can surprise you in a way the game hasn’t managed in a long time. I’ve had runs where I got wiped so fast I had to laugh, because it forces you to engage instead of drifting into autopilot, and that’s a welcome change. With all these shifts working together, Season 11 feels sharper, more demanding, and more rewarding, especially once you start weaving in the new systems the same way you think about your diablo 4 runes.

The latest update for Path of Exile 2 feels like someone pulled the rug out from under the old meta, and it hits you right away once you start tinkering with builds. Removing the curse limit, especially for talents like Doomed Pain, completely rewrites how many of us approach damage scaling, and it honestly opens the door to some wild setups that just weren’t doable before. You’ll notice pretty fast that stacking debuffs now feels natural rather than forced, and it ties neatly into the broader pacing of fights, especially once you factor in the easier access to PoE 2 Currency that lets you experiment earlier in a league.
Weapon Flow and Combat Feel
One thing players have been talking about nonstop is how much smoother combat feels thanks to the weapon talent tweaks. Cooldowns aren’t fighting you anymore, and stripping mana costs from certain weapon triggers makes a huge difference when you’re not spending half your time juggling regen or leech just to stay functional. You can swap skills on the fly, try weird rotations, and the gameplay loop simply clicks in a way it didn’t before. It’s not just about hitting harder; it’s the fact that AoE buffs sync up with these changes so your screen clears without that old clunky rhythm we’d gotten used to.
The Druid’s New Depth
If you’re someone who likes mixing playstyles, the revamped Druid is going to grab you fast. Instead of being stuck in one form, you’re encouraged to weave in and out—shift to tank or punch things up close, then jump out to cast and pump up your minions. Fated Torment ties it all together by rewarding players who bounce between roles without breaking stride. It can feel messy the first few tries, but once you get the hang of it, you realise it’s one of the most flexible kits in the game. And yeah, finding gear that boosts both minion and elemental damage is a bit of a puzzle, but solving that puzzle is part of the fun.
Passive Tree and Ascendancy Changes
The wider balance pass did something players have been begging for: it trimmed the passive tree without gutting its depth. Paths make a lot more sense now, and you don’t waste as many points wandering around trying to reach what you actually want. Unlocking Ascendancy nodes also feels fairer—less of that grindy slog we all tolerated for years. You’ll probably notice early on that you get to the real decision-making parts quicker, and that shift alone gives builds a better sense of momentum.
A Fresh Start for Build Makers
All these changes come together in a way that makes Path of Exile 2 feel like it’s entering a new era, especially for players who love pushing systems to their limits. Whether you’re crafting some unhinged curse-stacking setup or trying to nail the timing on a Druid rotation, the game finally gives you room to experiment without fighting the framework itself, and that sense of freedom hits harder than expected once you start pairing it with reliable access to path of exile 2 currency which helps fuel all the theorycrafting.

The Killing of a Sacred Deer - Suspense/Horror, 2017
Found some comment recommending this under a thread about "movies that feel inherently evil" or some shit. Was there with Lost Highway and a couple others. Anyway, someone was like "I WISH I PREPARED FOR THIS MOVIE BEFORE I WATCHED IT" so I took the opportunity to do one of my favorite things: going in as completely blind as possible.
Hyperbole.
It's a 7/10 for me, I imagine a solid 8/10 for others. Great, well crafted movie. But for my tastes, nothing particularly special.
Color of Night - 1994 suspense/mystery
I also went completely blind into RedLetterMedia's recent review of Color of Night. Also a miss. Which marks the first time I went into a movie blind via an RLM rec and was disappointed. It was really trying to do something unique and almost made a competent movie, but ended up a mess. I appreciate what it was trying for at least.
